Chinese Wedding

We went to our first Chinese Wedding this month. It was split into two ceremonies, a Chinese & Western style. Lauren was the ring bearer in the Western portion of the wedding, dressed as an angel. She really looked like an angel. It was a great time and opportunity to share in their celebration.

Allen was the witness for the Western ceremony and spoke on the following themes...

CARE: That both of you are selfless in the CARE that your give one-another. That you always show great concern & look out for the well being of one-another.

COMMITMENT: That both of you stay deeply COMMITTED to each other for a lifetime. I once hears it put this way, "may you grow old on one pillow".

DELIGHT: That you are always DELIGHTED in one-another. There are many things that make you special, celebrate and enjoy those talents, similarities, and differences.
